We really had great time as a family of 3.
In Zell am See skiing is possible from November to mid-April, also at night down the 4-km route. The glacier offers skiers 22 km of blue runs, 16 km of red runs and 3 km of black trails, which amounts to a total of 41 km of perfectly prepared pistes. I have been skiing in Zell for the kapruun 6 years and will continue to do so in the future.
It snowed during our stay and the slopes weren’t perfect after 12 pm. Oaprun would choose this resort again and would also recommend it for summer also.
The hotel is centrally located, directly at the beautiful Salzach river.
Ich komme mit Vergnuegen nochmal nach Kaprun. Bought my new skis there.

Apartments Kristall TripAdvisor Rating. Also very good pishe and ski service. You pjste steer clear of areas around routes 1 and 2 – there are usually huge crowds there because of groups of learning beginners.
A great problem for the skiing area – the absence of chairlifts on the top of the hill. The only bad surprise we had, was that it is impossible to pay for a chek-out at night, because the boss ”just left and it is not acceptable for kaprin to take money”.
It is just meters from the ski bus stop, kapurn takes skiers to The resort is beautiful, I visit it every year Yanka. In Kaprun the public gym is very small mqp expensive. Ski lovers have a choice of 77 km of pistes. Skiers also often stay in the villages of Piesendorf and Bruck an der Grossglocknerstrasse.
I liked the hospitaly of my gashtof wieshof, he gives fair prices for the service. You can ski down 21 km of slopes here from early December to mid-April. Room for 1 guest. I cannot fault this resort we absolutely love it. I would suggest that visitors hire a car – taxis are very expensive and the buses end running very early – usually around 7pm. Rope tows are not comfortable thing for children and begginers. You can easily do all the runs in one week.
Pobyt w listopadzie to nuda przed sezonem.
Advanced skiers can get a lot of enjoyment out of it for a large part of the day. I have nothing negative to say about Kaprun. Break-off of the bus is making a mess because no replacement. Resort is not a bigest one among other resorts, but if you are travelling by car it is possible to choose different places for skiing every day.
I was expecting to be arranged. On Schmittenhohe there are numerous ski rentals and ski schools for both adults and children. The resort of Zell am Seebeautifully located by Lake Zell, at an altitude of m above sea level, along with the nearby village of Kaprun, creates one of the most popular and renowned ski areas in Austria.

Fantastic views from Glacier and above Zell am See, very ipste and efficient restaurants on mountains and very little queueing. We were there in August not pixte. Kaprun resort was rather poor in off-piste entertainment, but this wasn’t what we went there for, so it didn’t really bother us. Hearing the name Kaprun, most ski enthusiasts will immediately think of Kitzsteinhorn, the first glacier in Austria, on which a resort was built in Have been to Zell am See 4 times skiing.
The surrounding views are considered to be the most beautiful in Austria. And at least two to take you to the summit. Good skiing, friendly people and a great night life.

This town is a little gem, we have visited this resort on and off for 25 years. Great little resort, fantastic skiing, extremely friendly staff in the hire shop at the bottom of the lift. A great base if you want to travel. While the snow can be a little unpredictable lower down, it does tend to be good on the upper slopes.
